چکیده
Abstract Proteolysis is the rate-limiting step in mineralization of organic nitrogen into ammonium (NH 4 + ) and thereby ammonia 3 released during composting. However, dynamics bacterial proteolytic communities related to NH emissions composting systems are mostly unknown. This study aimed examine compare effects hyperthermophilic pretreatment (HPC) traditional (TC) methods on (i) difference loss nitrogenous compounds; (ii) community involved proteolysis (iii) correlation between community, biophysiochemical characteristics loss. Results revealed that HPC decreased by 42% as compared TC 60-day period. was accompanied with an inhibitory effect protease activity where relative abundances bacteria ( Bacillus megaterium Staphylococcus cohnii were reduced significantly TC. Partial least-squares path modeling suggested various physicochemical properties such higher temperature well lower C/N ratio played a dominant role affecting abundance bacteria, which may have been important factor contributing HPC. All these findings lead us conclude can reduce inhibiting responsible for release. Graphical

Ammonia Emissions from a Commercial Poultry Manure Composting Facility
Composting is an effective waste management technology for converting animal wastes into valuable organic fertilizer. However, air emissions from composting, especially ammonia (NH3) emission, reduces the nitrogen fertilizer value of the compost and greatly impacts the environment. Ammonia emission from commercial composting facilities is not well understood and is limiting mitigation or recove...
متن کاملComposting as a Strategy to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Composting animal manure has the potential to reduce emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4) from agriculture. Agriculture has been recognized as a major contributor of greenhouse gases, releasing an estimated 81% and 70% of the anthropogenic emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4), respectively. A significant amount of methane is emitted during the storage of liquid manur...

Streptococcal M protein is one of the best characterized anti-phagocytic surface molecules. The protein has a coiled fibrillar structure extending outwards about 600 nm from the streptococcal cell wall. The anti-phagocytic nature of the M protein appears to be related to two properties: ( a ) its ability to bind fibrinogen and the D family of its degradation products, thereby preventing deposit...

15 صفحه اولOptimal crop management can reduce energy use and greenhouse gases emissions in rainfed canola production
Energy use and greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions in rainfed canola production in north eastern Iran were analyzed to find measures to reduce energy use and GHG emissions. Four production scenarios, i.e. a high-input, a low-input, a better crop management and a usual scenario, evaluated. All activities and production processes were monitored and recorded over three consecutive years. The usua...
